In 1933, with Korea under Japanese rule, resistance captain Yem Sek-jin is tasked with recruiting three unruly independence fighters, Ahn Okyun, Big Gun and Duk-sam. Their mission is to sneak into Seoul and kill a Japanese general, Kawaguchi Mamoru, along with the pro-Japanese businessman Kang In-guk.
Three North Korean agents, trained since youth in an elite unit, slip into South Korea disguised as a village fool, a would-be rock musician and a high school student. With no new orders arriving, they slowly settle into everyday life in a small neighborhood, until a sudden mission throws everything into disorder.
