The Call
In 2019, Kim Seo-yeon visits her ill, estranged mother at her run-down childhood home and finds an old cordless phone. Through it she starts getting calls from Oh Young-sook, a frightened young woman living in the same house in 1999. The two begin talking across time, bonding over their troubled relationships with their mothers.
